Greens First® Ingredients 101: Barley Grass

Welcome to “Greens First® Ingredients 101”, where we take one component of Greens First® and explain exactly what it is and why we’ve included it in this revolutionary product.

Let’s Ingredients 101 Barley Grass. This “Super Green” is considered the most nutritional of the green grasses. Before green grasses undergo the reproductive cycle that creates the grains, they are in this “young” grass stage and contain about the same vitamins and minerals as dark green vegetables!

The Barley Grass Juice Powder in Greens First® is spray dried at very low temperatures from pure organic juice (not milled grass) and it’a green powerhouse! It provides you with a wide spectrum of natural nutrients, as well as chlorophyll and a unique and powerful antioxidant called glycosylisovitexin.

Green Barley leaves also contain a multitude of live enzymes, sometimes referred to as “the body’s spark plugs”.
